8 Pages of Apps – What & Why
To fix my battery issue with the iPhone, Apple did a complete software restore. When I synced the next time, I had 8 pages of apps. @_@ Yikes! Apparently iTunes syncs all of the apps I ever downloaded.
Some asked me what could those possibly be, so here they are along with a short description of what I use them for. My favorites are in bold.

- The Love Dare – from the movie Fireproof
- Abduzeedo – Amazing art & design inspiration
- ActionMethod – A different kind of GTD App by Behance
- AirMouse – I can’t believe I bought this. It’s crap.
- Analytics – Very useful app to see all of my sites’s traffic data
- ArcadeBowling – A very addicting game
- Avatar Creator – Not worth $0.99
- Beauty Tips – This app is actually very helpful. I’ve learned a few cool tips & tricks with it
- Bejeweled 2 – Another app to waste my time
- Best Camera – Alright camera app (not the “Best”)
- Holy Bible – Great app and it’s FREE
- Engadget – Not a fan. Not sure why I downloaded it.
- Billings – Great app. Love the interface!
- Birdbrain – I can see who unfollows me. Woot!
- Birdfeed – Good Twitter app. Kind of expensive for what it has.

- Bank of America – To see how rich (or poor) I am.
- Bump – Share contacts while touching fists. Kind of uncomfortable with people you hardly know.
- CameraBag – Totally love this app. Cool photo filters.
- CameraFlash – Suks.
- CC Terminal – Works great. Very impressive for $0.99
- Classics – Nice interface and great books.
- Collapse – Another awesome game to pass the time.
- Daily Mug – Cool app but I have not kept up with it. I know, I suk.
- DoodleJump – Everyone said this was great. I don’t agree. Waste of money.
- Dropbox – I heart Dropbox forever. Awesome file app that syncs with your iPhone, Mac, PC & has online interface.
- Ego – To see how many people care about the stuff I talk about.
- Ellen – I love Ellen. She’s my favorite. Gotta have her app.
- iBattery – To prepare myself emotionally.
- Evernote – I have everything on Evernote (ideas, dreams, songs, code, recipes, thoughts, etc.)
- Facebook – Not sure why I still have a Facebook. Mostly to talk to my mom. Sad, I know.
- iFarm – No comment.

- Flickr – Where I share my photos with the world. Scary.
- Fling Free – Difficult game. Don’t like it.
- Flixter – Movie times & reviews.
- Font Game – To perfect my font knowledge.
- Format 126 – Retro camera app.
- Fountain Pen Free – Actually pretty cool but not so useful.
- Google – You just have to have the Google app.
- Gowalla – To share where I am, see how many people are around me and see what they think about the location.
- Grammys – POC App
- Groundwork – For Basecamp (Project Management)
- Hipstamatic – Retro Camera. One of the best interfaces ever. Very fun to use. Great results too.
- I love the 80’s – I suk at this game.
- Old Booth – Put your face in some funny old pictures. Very realistic results.
- iDisk – to see files from MobileMe
- iHandy Level – To make sure things are straight
- Instapaper – Where I keep a bunch of articles to read as I have the time

- iVideoCamera – A really good video camera for the iPhone 3G
- JungleCrash – Fun game. Very well done. Super strategic.
- LineUp – Like tetris but not as fun.
- LittleSnapper – I’ve used this once. Not sure why I bought it. Very nice interface.
- LoMob – Another Retro Camera but this one is really nice. I like it a lot.
- Mars Hill – Mars Hill Church’s app – I don’t open it at all.
- MeasuresLite – Very cool app to covert measures
- Momento – One of my favorite apps. Sorta like a journal. You can also connect flickr, twitter & facebook to it.
- MoronTest – It’s a test to see if you’re a moron for buying it and clearly I am. Dumb app.
- Mover – Share contacts by flicking a contact to your buddy’s iPhone. Better than Bump in my opinion.
- Moxie – Cool words game. Addictive.
- MySpace – Um. I don’t have a MySpace account anymore.
- Shazam – To figure out what song is playing and buy if you wish. Very cool app.
- Old Camera – Another retro camera app.
- P Tracker – Tracks that time a month. In my case, I have not been able to use this just yet. :-/
- Pandora – Type the name of an artist and you get a radio station with similar music.

- PhotoForge – A photo editor. Not as good as Photoshop.
- Pic Posterous – Take a pic and share it with the world via posterous.com
- Polarize – Make Fauxlaroid photos
- Position App – Check out the most popular apps all over the World
- PS Mobile (Photoshop by Adobe) – Great photo editing app.
- Rat on the Run – Very difficult game.
- RockBand Free – Rockband with 1 song from the Foo Fighters – Awesome app!
- Redbox – Reserve redbox movies and check redbox locations near you
- The Love Dare Reminders – Yes. I need reminders since it’s a daily thing.
- The Book of Revelation – An app to study the book of Revelation with Mike Bickle’s notes. Absolutely love it.
- Scrabble – Who doesn’t like scrabble. Best game ever.
- Scramble – Great word game, also very difficult.
- The Typography Manual – Awesome info about typography. A must-have for all designers.
- Skype – Chat & talk on the phone using your phone
No video yet. - Snapture – Take photos faster. No need to wait. Also, you can take pics by touching anywhere in the screen.
- SneakyPix – Take photos discretely as if you were talking on the phone.

- SparkPeople – Community for people that want to lose weight. Also track your water and food intake as well as fitness.
- Spikey – Really cool game. Can become very difficult at one point.
- Stanza – To read books (free & by purchase)
- Starbucks – To make my perfect drink & know how to order it.
- TextPlus – To text people. I don’t really need it but I downloaded it to take a peek.
- Things – My GTD (Get Things Done) app. I absolutely love this app. It also syncs with the desktop version.
- TiltShiftGen – Very nice camera & photo editing app.
- Tipulator – To calculate how much I should tip our waiter/waitress
- ToonPaint – Make cartoon images out of pics you take with the iPhone
- TrafficRush – Crappy game too. Hard to beat.
- Tumblr – To create posts on my Tumblr blog.
- Twitterific – Good Twitter app, but not the best in my opinion.
- Typography Junkies – Cool app for typography junkies like me.
- X3watch – Accountability app
- UPS – To track packages
- Urbanspoon – To check out restaurants around the area as well as reviews.

- Video Camera – Another video camera for the iPhone 3G – This one has effects you can apply. Pretty cool stuff.
- WebMD – To check on symptoms and see how I should take care of myself.
- WeeMee – Similar to the Wii Mii Creator but a little more current.
- Weightbot – To track my weight and see my progress. Haven’t really used it much.
- What the Font – Take a pic of a word and upload it. What the Font will tell you what font it is.
- Where – Great to see what’s around (shopping, food, etc)
- Wordpress & Wordpress – Not sure why there are two versions. I use Wordpress to post to my blog.
- Words with Friends – It’s like scrabble but more people have it because there’s a free version.
- Lynda.com – Just downloaded it. Lynda.com is a place for designers to learn all sorts of stuff.
- Twittelator – Another twitter client. It was the most expensive and the most useless of them all.
- Labyrinth LE – Cool game – very similar to the real life deal.
- Quip – Take pics & text them to people (I downloaded this app, prior to MMS being available)
- Tap Tap Revenge – Who doesn’t have Tap Tap Revenge. It’s the “Guitar Hero” of the iPhone
- TweetDeck – Another twitter app – I don’t like it.
- My AT&T – Check account & pay bill.
